This Woman took the wind out of my sails

I’m seriously impressed!

I didn’t expect this successful lady to take my call.

I was anticipating a chat with The Gatekeeper (the PA) instead, and the good old:

“She’s not available at the moment. May I take a message?”

AnaStellar Pharmaceutical Company was launched in August 2016 by Anastasia Dobson-Du Toit. It provides nutritional supplements to women in different stages of life, including pregnancy.

Anastasia was listed as one of 50 Top SA Business Women To Watch by Entrepreneur.com. In the article they said: “Despite launching in an incredibly competitive and heavily regulated industry; pharmaceuticals, 2 years later their business is consistently achieving impressive growth.”

.... and she took my call!

I needed info for an article I was working on.

It was an easy conversation. I was curious about whether she lets her hair down during the Festive Season. Was it all work and no play?

Anastasia gave a hearty laugh, which made me feel comfortable.

“Of course I do!

We NEED to take time off. I would like to do so every 8 weeks if I could. But we have a business to run. The pharmaceutical industry closes down over Christmas and New Year, so we do the same.”

EASY CONVERSATION!

This is what touched me about our brief chat:

She took the time to talk with me, a complete stranger, a non-buyer. No potential business transactions there! I wanted something from HER!

Even though she's the MD, super busy, and probably gets tons of calls, Anastasia still likes to chat to her clients if she’s available. No gatekeeper!

Because she believes it’s important to have a personal relationship with them.

So I ask myself:

-Am I too busy for a chat and a cuppa with a client?

-Am I building relationship?

-Do my clients trust me enough to do business with me?

-When they interacted with me, or my business, how do I make them feel?

Anastasia certainly had it down! That's a lady I won't forget in a hurry!
